The guy in the picture is not Hell Boy, he's Holy IT Boy. Although the difference between the two are so minor, but this doesn't mean that they are the same! Such as the logo on his arm is "HIT" referring to Holy IT.

About the Flash banner: It's inserted by using SWFObject.js. YouTube.com uses this method too. The good thing about it is that:

• it checks if your Flash Player version satisfies the banner requiremnent, and if not show a gif picture instead.
  
• it removes the "click on object to active" shade which is made by Internet Explorer.
  
• if the browser has Java Script disabled, it will also show the gif image instead, so feel safe when JS it self is not supported.
  
• it's compatible with standards.
