Introduction
Wowzers, its my fifth design for oswd already, man I must be having a design overload lately, or something like that. This is the first design that I've actually decided to use images on. I have used them sparingly though, obviously, to keep in touch with the idea of the template; a light, fast loading, easy on the eyes design.
The Usual Stuff...
Yep. As with all my other templates, this design adheres to the usual standards that many people are coming to expect nowadays. These Being:
- Fully css Valid
- Fully xhtml Valid
- All that other stuff
You can of course check these validations at w3c.
Optimum Efficiency
As with pretty much all my designs, to get the most out of this template you should be using Mozilla Firefox. Certain aspects of the css code is not rendered properly in poor browsers like MSIE. Also things such as the rounded tabs make use of css code exclusive to Firefox. Although this is by no means an essential part of the design, it does have a large effect on the overall feel of the template.
Tools
Notepad. I use notepad. It's simple and does everything that any other web publishing software can do, really.
Get Seen
Should you decide to use this template make sure to edit the META tags within the page's <head>. In particular; ABSTRACT, DESCRIPTION & KEY WORDS. These are what search engines such as google look at when they're crawling the web.
