About this design

In short, a friend asked me to design a new site for him, and this is what I whipped up. However, what I made for him included a small handful of icons. Given oswd.org's policies about images, I haven't included them. Just send me an email if you would like me to send you the images.

I've reworked the code for this site several times - it now even works in IE6. Not that that's much of an achievement, really, but it is a pain having to find work-arounds to get things working in IE. For instance, the hover effect on the menu items (the popup "<") required a completely redundant 'background' property to get working. The mind boggles...

There are probably bits of CSS that don't do anything you can see on this page; I had to gut the site so I could upload it to oswd.org. I've added comments to anything that isn't obvious in the files.
