As of June, 2007 stats are no longer published. Wordpress is winning by a landslide and there is just one big green pie chart. This is not necessarily because WordPress is everyone's favorite open source software and web designers want to support WordPress. Rather, it is because there is incentive for freelance web designers to create WordPress themes, auction off the links at the bottom and then distribute the themes. There is nothing wrong with this, but the donation system has to be changed. At the end of 2007 the entire donation will be made to WordPress. In the future, donations will not be based on the number of themes submitted for a particular platform. The statistics for free web layouts submitted by members are updated monthly. Each free web site template submitted by a member counts as a vote towards the open source software platform that will receive the majority of the year end donation.
