Hi GypsyOwl. Sorry that the forum lost some posts. I gave my hosting provider specific instructions to let me know when they were going to start restoring the backup, and when I should expect it to be finished. They didn't get back to me and ended up doing it over night. So the site went back online before I was ready. I wanted to be informed when this was going to happen so I could take the site offline and restore the latest database backups. Oh well.

Did you delete the footer by editing the footer.php file in the includes folder? You might have deleted the whole file which you don't want to do. Anyhow, it looks like the site is starting to come together

no problem about missing posts.

I will check for a folder. (footer issue)... Unfortunatly, I did delete some things before I realized it wasn't the best way to go.

Thank you , yes it is coming together.

I am looking forward to having it all in the root of the gypsyowl.org site soon. I will post a redirect page at the link posted here when that happens so that I don't have to go about checking where I have posted that /joomla link .

This Joomla CMS is really awesome once you get some idea how it is mapped out.

I am considering that SMF idea Muffin, I don't want to get into that yet, but, I like the way it looks and feels much better than the joomlaboard.

Even though Joomlaboard is supposed to be easy, it proved to be more annoying that its worth.

Well, i hope that you get the deleted file back Just compare your directory to a joomla copy on your pc!

It just takes time to get used to CMS but ive used a few other CMS as well as Joomla! but the user interface on Joomla! is the best - id stick with it
