So true. Perfectionism is a necessary trait and a web designer's downfall at the same time. I always notice the difference when I visit a site that is pixel-perfect as opposed to one that has a few seams sticking out. But, of course not every site is going to look absolutely perfect in all of the different web browsers people use unless it is super-simple and boring in design. (You know, it actually bothers me how the emoticons change the line-height in this forum. I could change the line-height for all of the text in posts, but then the posts would take up more room and require more vertical scrolling to read everything. I have to try and control myself when im on other peoples sites and I see errors or minor irritances, i always MSN until its fixed

I found something really annoying on my site - the SMF latest topic module only works once you login to SMF

Yeah, its kinda down to say the least. I have not had as much time as I would have liked recently, so main site development has been limited, and any progress is only visible locally.

But, like you said, I like the picture placeholder
