Hiding the theme name on the URL?
by Retrospective 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi, Your theme switcher is awesome! How do I hide the name/variable of the theme?

How do I remove the ?wptheme=Francais on the URL?

For example: http://www.ndesign-studio.com/demo/wordpress/

Once you change the theme the URL resets/hides the specified theme?

I am trying to do a bilingual theme that the user can switch language themes, but I don't want to show the theme name.

Thanks!

WordPress Theme Switcher Reloaded was designed specifically to solve a problem with other theme switchers. With Reloaded you can check W3C validation for the wordpress themes using the URL. That is why the theme name is displayed. It is only displayed on first load. If you don't like the cosmetic appearance of having theme name in the URL, you can use one of the other theme switchers, but of course you don't get the benefits of the Reloaded version.
