Quantity versus Quality |

Sure, it is great having a button up top that says "Over 2000 Free Themes to Preview & Download!" But that doesn't mean each and every one of the free web design templates on Themebot is worth downloading. In an effort to maintain a high level of quality among the themes in the gallery, a new system has been put in place. If you have visited before, you will notice something new when you browse to an album for one of the open source software platforms hosted on Themebot. Each album now has a Recycle Bin. Also, it is now possible to comment on particular themes in the gallery. In a nutshell, here's how it works. If you have previewed a theme on the Live Demo or downloaded and installed a theme that has some problems with it, you can let Themebot know about it. This will help improve the quality of themes already available on Themebot and will provide valuable feedback for members who have submitted their own themes. If you have added your theme on Themebot and it was moved to either the Recycle Bin or the Trash Bin, you will receive an email notification that this has occurred. The nice looking icons for the Bins are borrowed from the Gnome icon set "Yasis" created by ertz. These icons are licensed GNU/GPL. |
